Spotlight: Theanly Chov’s 'The Rise'
Our first exhibition shines a light on Theanly Chov’s latest collection, 'The Rise'. Here, Chov skillfully captures the essence of post-war Cambodia, tackling notions of individualism and societal evolution. The paintings feature a recurring motif: figures reaching up towards the sky, embodying the enduring spirit and tenacity of the Cambodian people. Although the themes are weighty, Chov's palette and composition cleverly infuse optimism into the narrative. It's a perfect blend of art, wine, and music, sure to provide an unforgettable experience. And for the kids, the Botanico Kids Art Club provides a great space for budding young artists, while the ongoing exhibits at the Air Gallery at The Factory serve as an excellent outing for the whole family. We will also be hosting the Kids Art Club at Air Gallery from the 5th of August, pop along and enjoy getting crafty.
