This artwork is one piece of my yearly apsara paintings. There are 2 reasons why I do apsara painting every year. The 1st reason was the inspiration that I get from doing research about the Khmer empire/Angkor era the golden age of Khmer art. The beauty of women dress and unique look that made me fall in love with that era. The 2nd reason was that as a concept artist myself, I want to improve in painting as well as doing concept art. So painting and designing original apsara every year is a way for me to look back and see how much I have improved throughout the years as an artist.”This artwork is one of my art collections called Khexo. It is a reflection of my works and myself as a digital artist who love and admire the greatness of khmer art and culture.”
